Lets go Swimming!

There is nothing better than spending all day Saturday with family. It was beautiful and HOT outside. Let's go swimming! Gabriel just loves the water he goes crazy whether it's in the bathtub or in the swimming pool. It's all about making splashes, the bigger the splash the better.
















Gabriel loves his Grandma so much, he gets excited every time he sees her. My mom is the best Grandma. She could'nt love her grandchildren any more.


















It's grandpa and baby Daniel. Gosh I see a resembles. I think it's the eyes. Crazy!

Baby Daniel

Baby Daniel is turning 5 months on the 17th. He's getting so big. He is 16lb 11oz, 22 in tall and 2 months younger that Gabriel. He's starting to roll over to his tummy now and he talkes so much.

Another Milestone

It's just amazing to see Gabriel getting so big. Evey day he is doing something new. Today I put Gabriel in his crib and put his mobile on, next thing I know I hear his loud spinning noise on his crib aquarium. I walk in and he had rolled over to his tummy and moved over to his aquarium and started to hit buttons and spin all the wheels. It was hilarious! I was so proud of him.

Summer's here

Yaaa! We just bought a pool. Gabriel enjoys the pool so much. He splashes and splashes and his face ends up completely wet and starts all over again. We bought him a turtle floaty that he enjoys so much.

Look what I can do

This Momorial Day weekend we stayed home and just hung out. We put up our four foot swimming pool and I cant wait to put Gabriel in it. I'm sure Gabriel will love it since he loves his baths. While sitting on his Nina Lap he began to attempt to insert toe in mouth; and he did. I was so excited! I love when babies suck on their toes. Let me say that again BABIES.

Mothers Day

Today is Mothers Day and it's my first mothers day. We went to El Torito for Bruch. The entire family went. Daddy had to work so mommy and I meet everyone there.

Fire!

Today we went to II's house for Dinner. After we ate, we lit the Fire Pit in the back yard and sat around the warm fire. That was the first time Gabriel saw such a large fire.

BBQ

Since Grandma Lupe was leaving for Italy we decided to through her an early "Happy Mothers Day" party. It was all the brothers and the girls. We had some great food and great company. Gabriel was such a good boy all day. He really enjoyed being with the family.

TWINS?

Today cousin Daniel and Gabriel are twins. Jody gave both of them the same outfit for Easter. They looked so cute we had to make it a picture day. The Mommys Nina also matched. LOL

ZOO

We decided to go to the zoo this weekend. I haven't been to the LA Zoo since I was a child, I was so excited to see what expressions (if any) Gabriel was going to give. Chuck had Gabriel in the the Bjorn when we got there. We were so excited for Gabriel! He enjoyed looking around and eating the material to the Bjorn. He was such a good boy all day. He took a nap for about 30 min. and was up and ready to look around. He was baby talking through out the day and was just happy to be with mommy and daddy.

Easter

Since I didn't have this blog up and running I thought I would still post his first Easter.

Easter was at Grandmas house, we had a small brunch with aunts, uncles and cousins. Cousin Daniel was wearing his little Easter sleeper. We gave cousin Daniel a little stuffed dog with a heart that says "kiss me". Nina and Uncle Danny gave Gabriel his first Easter basket. He got three cute outfits (2) shorts outfit and shorts overalls that uncle Danny picked out. Gabriel also got a little stuffed lion that he goes crazy over. He loves to grab the lion and stick him in his mouth. We found one egg (yellow egg) and took some pictures of him with some confetti eggs.

We then left to Nino and Aunt Stormy's house and saw everyone there. Grandma Lupe gave Gabriel a little baseball outfit. Nino and Aunt Stormy went to Canada and bought Gabriel T-shirt.

Easter was nice. I cant wait until next year when Gabriel is walking around with a basket and trying to look for eggs.

Gabriel David-Albert Rodriguez

Our world changed within minutes. Gabriel David-Albert Rodriguez was born at San Dimas Community Hospital on January 8, 2007. He was 8lb 7oz and 20.5 in. long. My mom, mother-in-law and Chuck were the first ones to literally see Gabriel to come into this world crying and screaming. Gabriel was such the perfect little baby as most newborns are :0). The first day I came home and heard him crying I realized that there is this little baby that needs me. For what ever reason he needs ME. The idea that this little boy will one day be a man and yet will still need me for whatever reason. Come and follow Gabriels World.
